This contemporary design features a simplified, large scale version of the original Morris fabric from 1884, featuring scrolling flowers and foliage in an elegant palette of chalk and silver tones. Printed on 220 thread count cotton percale, the duvet cover and oxford pillowcase are edged with fine cord piping and feature a stylised floral outline on the reverse. The standard pillowcase also features the reverse print. A textured cushion embroidered with a floral scroll design and a quilted cotton throw in a silver colourway complete this elegant range.
Originally a fabric designed by William Morris in 1883, Pure Strawberry Thief has been re-created in a contemporary monochromatic colourway whilst retaining the exquisite detail of the multi-coloured original. The range incudes a jacquard duvet cover and oxford pillowcase woven in a fine 300 thread count cotton, reversing to a coordinating plain 200 thread count percale. The range is accessorised with an embroidered cushion featuring the iconic Strawberry Thief design and a chalk coloured quilted cotton throw.
One of William Morris's most famous designs, Strawberry Thief was inspired by thrushes stealing strawberries from the kitchen garden of his countryside home. This lovely bedding is the perfect finishing touch to your room, and includes a luxurious quilted throw, decorative cushion and 300 thread count cotton bed linen, shown in a deep indigo blue.
