For window sill length curtains, measure to 1.5 cm above the sill to avoid condensation.
For below sill length curtains, allow 7.5-15 cm below the sill. Allow a minimum clearance of 1.5 cm above radiators.
For floor length curtains, allow approximately 1.5 cm clearance above carpets.
For pooled curtains - where surplus fabric sits on the floor and creates a 'pool' effect - we recommend allowing between 75 cm and 1 m extra to the length.
